Dr. Kush Joshi

SPECIALISM

Kush Joshi has been a consultant in Sports and Exercise Medicine since 2019. He is the musculoskeletal ultrasound lead at Homerton University Hospital and teaches Sports and Exercise Medicine registrars who are training in London.

He is the tournament physician for the Wimbledon tennis championships, a role which he has been in for 5 years. He is the medical director for Carter and George, a private Sports Medicine and physiotherapy service, which has a presence nationwide.

Kush has held previous posts as a consultant at Oxford University Hospitals and within the military. He has worked in professional sports for a decade, working at Chelsea FC, the Lawn Tennis Association, Saracens RFC and was the Chief Medical Officer for Great British Canoe Slalom.

His research interests include stress injuries, osteoarthritis and tennis injuries. He teaches both nationally and internationally on ultrasound and injection courses.
