Reformer Pilates
Reformer Pilates at Opus
Reformer Pilates enables you to strengthen the body through various ranges of motion to improve mobility without causing injury. Reformer Pilates at Opus combines both a classical and rehabilitative method to optimise performance and we work closely with the physiotherapists to ensure your Pilates experience is specific to your goals.
1-2-1 Reformer Pilates is available at Opus which incorporates more of a dynamic approach to exercise. The reformer is a piece of equipment with various weighted springs and attachments. This helps to modify the exercises to be more challenging or to provide more stability.
We also offer physiotherapy-led Reformer Pilates at Opus. With the expertise of a physiotherapist, the session will be tailored to your specific needs to ensure optimum recovery from injury. Pilates complements physiotherapy and is an effective method of rehabilitation.
Meet the Specialists
Our Reformer Pilates service is led by Gavin Eivers, our Strength and Conditioning Coach, who offers personalised 1-to-1 sessions focused on fitness, strength and conditioning. Physiotherapy-led sessions are run by Ian Gilham and Bart Hudson-Gill, who use the reformer as part of their physiotherapy rehabilitation work.
