Pre-Signing Medicals

Pre-Signing Medicals at Opus

Pre-signing medicals are a staple of any contract negotiation when players and athletes are objectively assessed on their complete medical condition. Players are assessed across 3 main areas: medical, musculoskeletal and cardiorespiratory.

A thorough medical assessment includes comprehensive blood testing, bespoke imaging and a full body examination. The musculoskeletal assessment involves a head to toe examination focusing on the condition of muscles, tendons, ligaments and joints but also their functional level. The musculoskeletal assessment is augmented by unparalleled dedicated imaging and reporting by experienced musculoskeletal radiologists in conjunction with our sports medicine doctor. The cardiorespiratory assessment examines a players cardiac health, their reserve and their capacity under stress.

Our specialists team compile a report within 12 hours of the assessment for the player and the club.
